After crashing my Shuttle Z helicopter, I wondered around the Internet looking for a better and cheaper way to learn to control my helicopter.
Very quickly I found a simulator for R/C helicopters called CSM 3 in 1.
The best thing about the CSM simulator is the ability to use your own Radio Controller and not a joystick, enabling you to feel and adjust your radio to your needs.
The simulator comes with:
One Program. (on a 1.44 disk)
One Interface. (Electronic connection which interprets the signals from your radio to the computer. The interface is connected to the parallel port (LPT) of your computer)
One cable connector. (There is more than one kind of cable, the type of cable depends on the make of your radio)
When ordering the simulator don’t forget to give the dealer the make of your radio.
Adjusting and trimming your radio to get the right settings is one of the most important steps, why? You ask.
After the adjustments are complete, you will be able to use your radio with your real helicopter with little or no trimming at all. (That is if you built it right!)
Bottom line:
Buy the CSM simulator; it will cut down your expenses and make you a better pilot.
Adjust your radio settings and not the simulator, to obtain compatibility between the simulator and the real chopper.
This is an excellent product! A must have for all R/C Pilots.
