FLIGHT OPERATION SYSTEM is a complex company information system for operation of flight schools and flight companies. The system is aimed at increase of productiveness of a company and centralization of all its specialized processes. FLIGHT OPERATION SYSTEM has been and is developed according to JAA international regulations.
FLIGHT OPERATION SYSTEM has been created to operate in Internet/Intranet environment based on the 10 years' experience in development and implementation of information systems. Analysis and draft of FLIGHT OPERATION SYSTEM have been prepared with the help of CASE tools.
Flight Operation System modules:
USER
In the module called user, all common information about pilots is gathered. This is the place to insert and update information which is divided into several coherent areas.
RESERVATIONS
The module Reservations is a tool for central management of reservations and control of used capacity of fleet of a company. Reservation includes information about time, location, type of aircraft, name of pilot, name of instructor, category of flight, departure, arrival, amount of fuel, special equipment, international custom clearance etc.
ACTIVATION OF FLIGHT
The module called Activation is a tool for control over flights clearance. Activation of flight involves information about time, location, type of aircraft, name of pilot, name of instructor, category of flight, departure, route of flight, arrival, number of passengers, amount of fuel etc.
LOGBOOK
The module Logbook has been created to become a modern tool for consistent, complete and correct overview of information about a completed flight. The module corresponds with the standards of JAA and is directly integrated to financial module, thus includes this flight in accountancy.
FINANCE
In the module finance the data output of accountancy are integrated. Information about current state of book-debts, obligations, reviews of particular flights and their costs.
INFORMATION
The module information provides general information for pilots, users of the system. The aim of this module is to provide pre-flight information NOTAM, METAR, TAF, SIGMET, radar information. Information is processed by a simple editorial system that enables to handle also flight instructions handbooks for particular types of aircraft, equipment etc.
AIRCRAFT
The module aircraft presents a modern tool for defining aircraft and fleet, control over maintenance of all aircraft and its equipment according to the updated standards JAA and a manufacturer of each aircraft. This module is currently at the stage of development.
ADMINISTRATION
The module Administration is an initial tool for users adjustment of the installed company system. It uses many functions and tools as definitions and settings of global parameters of the system, control of access rights, localization of the system into other language versions etc.
